Working Farm Backdrop
The main farmstead offers a traditional farm backdrop, an aged stable block, hay littered yards, straw and haystacks alongside the machinery, tools and muckheap as to be expected.
The interior space is the timber-clad barn – with brick and mortar, lime and horsehair and wooden wall space, providing some contrasting interior backdrops. The Oak beams and braces are complimented by the wooden boarded floor.
Coming soon for 2020 – our old stable with vintage manger and cobbled floor.
Rustic charm is in abundance
Rustic charm is in abundance with the clustering of farm houses, Kent peg stable and tin roof barn; which are all set around the centrally positioned lake. With wild flowers, ancient trees, natural lakes and hedge bordered fields there are plenty of rustic photo opportunities.
The wild flower meadow is in bloom between July and October, however other areas of the site include the spring flowering walkways, woodland areas and the walled garden situated in front of the main farmhouse, alongside over 50 acres of pasture.
We have onsite toilets (ladies/gents/disabled/baby change)
A small kitchen area (within the barn) for teas/coffee/refreshments
On site parking

The barn can be used as a crew base – or, if this is being used for the shoot then we can organise the hire of a green room marquee.
